Is it showcasing your business well enough? Make sure that you have a good quality image and that it is relevant to your business as this is one of the first things that visitors see when they come to your page. One way to use them and keep them fresh is by creating new ones for special offers that you have going on or products that you want to draw attention to.
The ‘home’ tab of your company page is the first bit of information about your company that a visitor will read so fill in all the areas you can to let people know as much as possible about your company. This includes a description, your website, your industry and your location. One of our tips is to make sure you have key words in your description and don’t make it too lengthy.
Products and Services
Are you showcasing what you offer through your LinkedIn page? Make sure that if people want to know what you offer, it is easy for them to find. After reading about what your company does, this is the next page that they will visit and if there is no information there, it is likely that they will move off your page. Make sure the copy about your products and services is easy to read and succinctly tells people about your offer. Finally, include pictures, your products and services won’t look complete without them.
Are you asking your clients for recommendations? Potential customers are more likely to believe an independent recommendation about your business than what you say about yourself. When someone has bought your product or service, ask them if they would like to leave you a recommendation and direct them to where they can leave on to make it easy for them to do so. This really gives credibility to your business as visitors to your page will be able to read your recommendations and go through to the profile of the people who left them.
The reasons for regularly posting an update from your company page are that it reminds current followers about your company and encourages them to check back to your page. It also allows visitors on your page to see that it is active, which makes them more likely to follow you. If you are not using your page to communicate with your followers, then you are missing out on spreading your message.
Check your analytics
Look at who your followers are and how well your posts are being received by checking your analytics. This will show you the type of audience you are attracting and which of your posts go down best with your fans. You can then use this information to generate future content that will be valuable to your audience.
